Introduction

We have 6 Brown Leghorns. They are fast and agile!

About the Breed 

Intelligent and crazy fast! These girls are so active we call them the "road runners".
Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Size: Cocks - About 7 pounds Hens - About 5 pounds 
Recognized colors: There are many recognized colors (white, red, light brown, dark brown, black, silver, buff, Columbian, buff Columbian, barred. We have brown Leghorns
General Appearance: Medium sized, slim with large combs and wattles, long erect tail feathers
Egg Production:Great producers for their small size. They lay about 3 large white eggs per week. White leghorns lay more eggs than the other varieties.

Today we decided to take our pictures in pairs to see comparisons of our chickens. This is Spider an Easter Egger and one of our Brown Leghorns.
